The Global Tobacco and Nicotine Forum (GTNF) is the world’s leading annual conference discussing the future of the tobacco and nicotine industries.
The GTNF is the global exchange for views and ideas between public health experts, government representatives, the industry and investors.
It was founded in Rio de Janeiro in 2008 to promote dialogue and shape the future together. Since then, it has traveled the world to accomplish the same.
Each year, the GTNF features a growing lineup of influential voices charting historic transformation. We aspire to offer more expert panels, more keynote speakers and more diverse viewpoints than ever before.
The GTNF advisory board was created in 2014 to bring together industry leaders and experts in the tobacco and nicotine industries.
Its role is to provide insight and the latest knowledge to ensure that all the relevant political, health, corporate and societal issues of the day are thoroughly covered. On vital issues such as harm reduction, regulation, the illegal trade or ESG, we have assembled the finest minds in the global industry to foster the evolution of the GTNF as a world-class networking and knowledge-sharing forum.
Appointed in October 2021, the chair of the Advisory Board is John “Jack” L. Marshall Jr., senior director of regulatory affairs for Altria Client Services.
