Regarded as a representative voice of e-cigarette retailers and users, Kim Do-Hwan is a vocal and well-respected figure in the field of e-cigarette advocacy. He has led a number of initiatives to help further the potential of e-cigarettes to help smokers transition to less harmful alternatives. In recent years, he has attended a National Assembly audit to successfully block the government’s previous plans to double taxation on e-cigarettes.
In addition to affecting legislative change, Do-Hwan has acted on processes within the National Assembly by hosting improvement seminars aiming to normalize discussions around the e-cigarette market. He is currently contributing his expert opinion to discussions regarding a possible increase in e-cigarette taxation.
