James Kuang

Dr.James Kuang is the chief scientist and head of the Life Science Institute of ICCPP Group, a member of the Expert Pool of Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Committee, and has a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Hong Kong. Kuang has accumulated many years of experience in the field of organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry and has participated in many major scientific and technological projects at the national level, at the provincial level in Guangdong Province and in Hong Kong, filed more than 60 patents for global inventions, and published nearly 10 papers.

At ICCPP, he is currently responsible for research on pharmaceutical chemical synthesis and new tobacco products, such as e-cigarettes. The company is a leading comprehensive e-atomizer company with global layout and multi-disciplined development, covering its own brand Voopoo, Dragbar, and ODM+ business.

Kuang has also presided over the drafting of the China Electronic Cigarette Industry Association’s group standard T/CECC 2-2017, “Specification for Electronic Smoke Atomizing Fluid,” and participated in the drafting of the China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Industry Standard SN/T 5076-2018, “Import and Export Electronic Smoke Atomizing Fluid Inspection Procedures,” assisting in the development and release of the group standard specification for the e-cigarette industry in China.
