Diana Marrero is the vice president of strategic development at Foreign Policy. She works with a wide range of public and private sector partners on high-profile events, analytics projects and major global initiatives. Before joining Foreign Policy, she developed strategic initiatives at The Hill and The Washington Post.
A media industry veteran, she began her career as a journalist at the Miami Herald and went on to cover politics, the criminal justice system and current affairs for a number of respected American news outlets.
Working in Washington, D.C., for the past 15 years, Marrero has established strong relationships with key players within the U.S. Congress, federal agencies, the diplomatic community, international organizations and Fortune 500 companies. Marrero holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University, where she focused on international business, marketing and strategy.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.
